Bruno: We couldn't finish the game as we would have liked

Bruno Rezende: Not happy in how Lube managed to finish the match against Skra at the 2018 FIVB Club World Championship.

Plock, Poland, November 26, 2018 - Cucine Lube Civitanoa claimed a decisive win Monday evening over hosts PGE Skra Belchatow at the start of the 2018 FIVB Men's Club World Championship, but neither side was completely satisfied by what transcribed on court.

Bruno Rezende, Lube setter: "We knew it would have been a hard game, with the two teams on the same level. But we didn't really have the concentration to finish the game as we would have liked, especially in the fourth set."

Roberto Piazza, Skra coach: "We suffered a lot when Leal was serving and his serves were really hard or us to receive. I would like to think that we put 100% on the court today, but that is not really obvious by the score that we got."

Kacper Piechocki, Skra libero: "Of course it is a shame that we lost the game, because we played equally well as our opponents. It is a shame how things stand at the end of this first game in this tournament, but we have two more games ahead of us and that is the perfect opportunity to win them and go to Czestochowa for the finals."
