Plock, Poland, November 27, 2018 - Fakel Novy Urengoy will hope to claim their second victory at the FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship on Tuesday when they take on PGE Skra Belchatow of Poland.
Head-to-Head· Fakel Novy Urengoy and PGE Skra Belchatow meet for the first time at the Club World Championship.
· PGE Skra won their first three Club World Championship matches against Russian opposition before losing in their last match against a Russian team, all versus Zenit Kazan.
· PGE Skra have won six of their last eight Champions League fixtures against Russian sides, including each of their last three.
Fakel Novy Urengoy· Fakel Novy Urengoy beat defending champions Zenit-Kazan 3-2 in their inaugural Club World Championship match.
· Three players scored 20+ points for the team in that victory: Artur Udrys (22), Dmitry Volkov (21) and Egor Kliuka (20).
· Andrey Ananev won a match-high four points from blocks (6 points in total).
PGE Skra Belchatow· PGE Skra started their Club World Championship campaign with a 3-1 defeat against Italian side Cucine Lube Civitanova.
· PGE Skra lost their opening match of a CWC campaign for the first time. In their previous four appearances, they always won at least their first two.
· PGE Skra have now lost four Club World Championship matches in a row, including 2017. They lost only three of their first 17 matches in the competition.
· PGE Skra claimed a total of 92 points in their defeat against Cucine Lube Civitanova (including 32 opponent errors). All of those points were shared between only five players, of which Mariusz Wlazly and Artur Szalpuk (18 each) scored the most.
