Plock, Poland, November 29, 2018 - Defending champions Zenit Kazan scored thei
r first win in the 2018 FIVB Men's Club World Championship, 3-1 over hosts PGE Skra Belchatow - but that was small consolation, as they'd already been eliminated, allowing both coaches to use their subs.
Loran Alekno, Zenit Kazan setter: "It was a really important game. The stress was huge. In this game the block was really important and the statistics don't show everything, results are more important. Our task is to play the best we can - we will see how that goes."
Grzegorz Lomacz, PGE Skra Belchatow setter: "It's a shame that we lost today. We really wanted to show that we can play. It didn't work. We are glad that we played with these teams - they are on a really high level and we know what we need to fix with our game. Lube are favourites to win the title, I'm sure of that."
