Placi: I still think Kazan are favourites

Plock, Poland, November 26, 2018 - Fakel Novy Urengoy pulled off a major upset Monday night on the opening day of the 2018 FIVB Men's Club World Championship, beating defending champions Zenit Kazan in an all-Russia clash - and now Fakel are after more.

Camillo Placi, Fakel coach: "I still think that Kazan are favourites win the World Championship. We gave it our all today, but we want to show even more. I believe in our potential because we have a young team."

Erik Shoji, Fakel libero: "We have some really good players in our team and we here to win. We're really happy that we won the match against Kazan, but we need to stay focused on our next game tomorrow. Volleyball is really unpredictable and we will see how it goes in the next matches."
