Luca Vettori on the attack as Diatecx Trentino beat Sada Cruzeiro to qualify for the semifinals of the 2018 FIVB Men's Club World Championship.
Rzeszow, Poland, November 28, 2018 - Diatecx Trentino of Italy came back from a set down to beat Brazil's Sada Cruzeiro 3-1 (17-25, 28-26, 25-23, 27-25) to claim the third of four tickets for the semifinals of the 2018 FIVB Men's Club World Championship.
Aaron Russel scored 24 points for the four-time world champions, who were vastly outblocked by Sada Cruzeiro, but made up for it with their attacking efficiecy. Sada Cruzeiro's Evandro Guerra beat Russel by one point for top scorer of the game.
For the weekend's semifinals Trentino join fellow Italians Cucine Lube Civitanova and Russia's Fakel Novy Urengoy who had already qualified the previous night from the other pool in Plock.
